library clash
Mick Jones has rummaged through his attic to put together the Rock and Roll Public Library, currently open in London. The exhibition features mementos from Jones's time in The Clash and Big Audio Dynamite, as well as books, video and bric-a-brac that he has collected over the years. The collection will eventually find a permanent home, but in the meantime, visitors can scan items and take them away on memory sticks.

At the end of the day, the man's talent cannot be denied. Watch him dance and the negative press fades away. Rest in peace.

heads will roll
Two of my favourite things merge in this clip: Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Mighty Boosh. Directed by Richard Ayoade, better known as Dixon Bainbridge and Saboo.

not so much of a lady noir....
Marion Cotillard in the new Lady Noir film for Dior. It's certainly a long way away from her appearance in the 2003 music video 'Givin' Up' featuring Richard Archer of Hard-Fi fame.
